Born Of A Virgin, Indeed!

That life was anchored in a virgin birth. The virgin birth of Christ is a revelation that just keeps on revealing. Your faith is possible because of the resurrection of Jesus, and the nature of reality that includes and allowed that historical event to happen. Your faith, although forever anchored in that event, moves you into the spiritual realm, which is in some ways an alternate and infinite reality to be experienced now. Committed to your trust is the wonderful truth that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin...! And also other such expressions such as "begotten of God" - Jn 1:14,18; 3:16. You can anchor your faith on the New Testament that never casts any doubt on the virgin birth of Jesus, but does however proclaim it with unwavering simplicity. You must first be content to place your faith in me,i.e., your hidden-man-of-the-heart - because of where my faith is; which is in Matthew and Luke. Concerning parthenos, used by Matthew in his account (Leaving no doubt that the prophecy in Isaiah referred to a virgin), it is the Greek word for "virgin".
